In an effort to improve the quality of service, Sriwijaya Air airlines apply the use of traditional clothing from Sriwijaya Kingdom to frontliners who are in charge of serving customers at airports. This program is officially held from January 13 to February 28, 2019.
Not only limited to service, Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal Sriwijaya Air, Retri Maya said that this step was one of the company's strategies in introducing the origin of the name of the airline with this Your Flying Partner line tag.
"We want to introduce again to loyal customers about the name" Sriwijaya "that we hold. Basically this name is our DNA in running the company and forming excellent service in accordance with customer expectations, "Retri Maya said.
Through this program, in the future some Sriwijaya Air employees at the airport will wear a typical South Sumatra Aesan postage stamp, precisely Palembang, which was the center of the Srivijaya kingdom 1,400 years ago. This shirt itself has graceful meaning and characteristics that underlie the form of Sriwijaya Air's services so far.
Retri Maya added that the use of traditional clothing is also believed to be a different nuance and provide a unique experience for customers to enjoy Sriwijaya Air Group services. On the other hand, this is also Sriwijaya Air's effort to preserve Indonesian culture through traditional clothing as a form of inheritance from our ancestors.
"This program will be carried out in all airports served by Sriwijaya Air Group. Hopefully this will also be one of the different forms in order to educate customers on ancestral heritage, "closed Retri Maya.
